WHO:

Dr. Gish is a Hepatologist specializing in all forms of liver disease, liver cancer and liver transplant. Dr. Gish has partnered with TeleMed2U to provide telemedicine consultative services for patients with liver disease.

WHAT:

TeleMed2U is a telemedicine-based multi-specialty clinical practice increasing access to specialist providers providing, “healthcare anywhere and everywhere.” The telemedicine consultation will be conducted through our HIPAA and HITECH compliant platform. Connectivity testing will be done in advance to ensure you can connect via our telemedicine platform. Following the consultation, a clinical note will be provided including a summary of your liver consultation with Dr. Gish and his consultative recommendations.

COST:

Payment will be processed through an online secure transaction portal. The fees for consultative services are:

Initial 60 minute consultation per patient: $500.00
Follow Up 30 minute consultation per patient: $300.00

Executive Summary
The Division of Viral Hepatitis (DVH) is one of five divisions w ithin the National Center for HIV/AIDS, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention (NCHHSTP) at CDC. DVH is comprised of three branches—Prevention, Epidemiology and Surveillance, and Laboratory—and provides leadership in science and public health practices to prevent and control viral hepatitis by:

Monitoring viral hepatitis disease trends
Detecting and responding to viral hepatitis outbreaks
Supporting state, local, tribal, and territorial capacity to conduct viral hepatitis surveillance and increase access to viral hepatitis prevention, diagnosis, and linkage to care services
Working with federal, state, and community partners as well as health care systems and providers to increase access to viral hepatitis prevention, diagnosis, and treatment services for all populations, including disproportionately affected populations (e.g., people with substance use disorder, justice-involved populations, people living with HIV)
Advancing viral hepatitis research
Developing and promoting viral hepatitis national testing and vaccination recommendations
Increasing public awareness of viral hepatitis
